The Friends of the Nevins Library is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization created to support the library programs & activities at the Nevins Memorial Library. There are four ways that you can currently support the Friends of the Nevins Memorial Library.
Become a Friend via Mail/In Person
The Friends do many activities throughout the year including book sale, baseball outings, book fairs at Barnes & Noble, and other fundraising events. There are many opportunities to become involved in the group and to enjoy the rewards of giving to your community.
As a special benefit of becoming a Friend, the Library will forgive your fines four (4) times during the membership year. Present your membership card to take advantage of this privilege (It’s good for fines only; lost or damaged books or materials must be paid for).
Become a Friend Online
Don’t have an envelope or stamp? Can’t get to the library to drop off your membership form. You can also become a member through our online portal.
Same membership, but you can do it from home.
Participate in a Fundraiser
Each year the Friends put on so many great fundraisers. From the Biannual Book Sale, to a Mini-Golf Tournament to Dine-Out fundraisers at local restaurants and more. When you participate in one of these fundraisers, the money goes right to the Friends. Check out what the Friends’ currently have going on below.
